I took a Stop the Bleed training class and all I can say is First Class. Erik is very knowledgeable and very personable. I learned alot and will most likely be attending other classes.
Just received my M210 Hesco plates and am very pleased, both with the product and J5 Rescue service. The plates were very well packaged when shipped. J5 Rescue was great with providing updates when my particular order had to be backordered. Their customer services is excellent, will definitely purchase from them again!!

Took a Stop the Bleed course with Eric and Jessica (the owners) here. Their teaching style was fantastic - I like how they tag teamed info with each other. They each have different experiences (military vs hospital) and preferences in products (such as CAT vs SAM XT tourniquets), which was great in that we could hear pros and cons with real life experience for all. There were verbal lessons AND hands on lessons. Hands on lessons including exploring and/or practicing using no less than 3 tourniquets and packing a wound that had moulage (fake) blood with gauze. There was no question they didn't have an informative answer for and were very patient with questions and hands on practice. Their store is well stocked, so plan on picking up some of the goods that you just learned about after the class, and maybe more! Would definitely recommend their course and their store to anyone and everyone!!!
Eric and Jessica were great teachers taking the time to work with people on the practical applications from the course and answering any questions thoughtfully and completely. They also have a nice selection of fist aid items for purchase.
Very informative and very patient instructors! Not intimidating at all. I liked it. Hopefully, my husband will sign up to go.

The class is an amazing resource, I definitely will be going back for the live bleeding course. Eric is a great instructor, he really cares about his students being proficient in the skills taught in class. I hope everyone that can sign up considers this class as vital information to have.
Eric and the team over at J5 are top notch.I was in the market for a Defense Mechanisms MEPC. Being that I am impatient and did not want to wait the 13 week lead time for direct orders from Defense Mechanisms, I started messaging various sellers including J5 to see if anyone had one in stock and ready to ship. J5 was the only company that got back to me. Not only did they respond but they responded within 5 minutes when I messaged in via the chat widget on their site at 11:00pm, and it was a real person that responded! They were able to check their inventory the next day and Eric got in touch to let me know they had what I needed. Rather than referring me back to the site to purchase, Eric sent me an invoice via email. These may seem like little things but you can tell a company actually cares and wants your business when they go out of their way to save you time and make things easy. The devil is in the details. Lastly, the order shipped within an HOUR of me paying the invoice and the link they provided me for tracking was not some Chinese website that has virtually no info on where your order is. I can't express how squared away these guys are. Moving forward, I will be visiting their site first for any gear I'm looking for.
Met with Eric he had came in on an off day. Nothing but patience and information. He gave all his time and was more than happy to help me with any questions I had. I got hesco special threat plates paired with a defense mechanisms carrier. He even helped fit it to me to make sure it was comfortable. He went above and beyond with the customer service. I will be going back anytime I need anything.

Met with Eric, great guy and super informative. Helped me setup the tegris for my IFAS which is really useful due to me wanting everything on my kit organized and compact. Definetely buying again and stopping by the store more often when I get the chance!

I could not be more happy about my experience with J5 Rescue! Eric responded very promptly to my messages and was constantly helpful. He was fair in his pricing, including a 10% discount for military. I spent just shy of 300 dollars on miscellaneous gear and I will definitely be back for more. I have finally found a reliable supplier of high quality gear, armor, and medical equipment. This place is the real deal. I highly recommend checking it out!
Eric & Justin came to our office to train us on CPR/AED. I was impressed. These guys have a wealth of knowledge on emergency care, and communicate clearly. The practice sessions were well done and very helpful. It was a real eye-opener. Hopefully we never have to use what they taught us, but I'm glad they did. I recommend J5 highly.
