Design & Embroidery
J5 Rescue Supply offers design and embroidery for duty badges, nametapes, and ID placards. We work with agencies to create graphic designs to their exact specifications. All designs are created in vector graphic software. We create high resolution, scalable designs. Once we have completed the design you will have a chance to approve the proofs. After proof approval you will receive the art files in your requested format, as well as the source file. This is important, as it means you can alter the file or use with another vendor if you wish. We do not offer “direct embroidery” services at this time.
We recommend our design and embroidery services to departments who are getting a new armor carrier system where the badge is not “direct embroidered” (directly sewn on the carrier). This would include United Shield International’s UPT Armor series.
Embroidery
Simple Design
We consider simple design to be one graphic design with no small customizations. This is typically the easiest and most cost effective to embroider.
Complex Design
Complex designs are designs that need small individual customizations to the graphic file or embroidered patch. This would include a department that wants to add individual badge number or rank to each badge.

Our embroidery work is outsourced to a company out of state. Lead time for embroidery requests is typically 2-3 weeks and does not include shipping time. If you would like a more accurate lead time please contact us.
